A Method for Comparison of Large Deflection in Beams

Abstract The deflection analysis of beams has been recently an active area research. large refers to deflections occurring due displacements and small strains. This type one the areas interest in development beam deformation methods. wide diversity methods highlights importance their comparison further elucidate properties features each method determine benefits limitations. In this study, a new model is introduced which involves three steps, instead only comparing final results for verification common studies. first step, complete made based on assumptions approximations kinematics deformation, displacement, strain fields. After selecting most accurate displacement functions are determined by polynomial approximation under different loading support conditions selected method. third used calculate strains conclusion comparative can be as benchmark compare theories analysis.
